Hello Lovelies!

As you might now i spent most of my summer in souther Spain and this year I actually decided to go check out the local market in Puerto Banus. I did not think I would find anything that I would like to buy but I just wanted to check it out anyways.

I have been to different markets in the past. I love the ambiance, the browsing through all the things for sale and just the whole look and feel of a market. The market I went was not that big but the way it was set up was really cute. I was located on a closed of street near the sea with a ton of different cafes and restaurants around it. So once you were all “shopped out” you could take a break a sip on a delicious spanish coffee or even maybe indulge in some churros.

Have a look below at the photos from the market and at the little different finds that I got!

Blue skies and tons of people shopping!

Sparkles and shiny things. Very pretty if you are looking for a little something for a friend or a family member. Or maybe you need a cute little sparkly heart to put your gems in….?

One thing there was lots of was arm candy! All kinds of different styles, colors and sizes…

Then I met this little guy from the SPCA that was looking for a new home! I fell in LOVE with him and I totally wish I could have brought him home with me. Since that was not a very realistic option I decided to donate some money to this great organisation that helps all kinds of animals find new homes in souther Spain.

While at the market I found these really fun bathing suits. A little bit cut out here and a little bit cut out there. I think these are perfect for an afternoon lunch or early dinner at the beach. Not the best option for tanning since you will end up with a very funky tan but matched with a long flowy skirt and a over-szied straw hat will do the trick!

I have not had a beach bag in quite some time so when I came across this woven beach basket I fell in LOVE!

Sparkels, pink and all hand made I felt like this was the perfect match for me. Since I don’t live at the beach all year round I felt like I would use this basket even when going for a picnic in a city park or maybe on an excursion up north. Either way I find is SO pretty!

How cool is this scarf/necklace piece? Made with real silver and stones. It can be worn so many different ways…. as a scarf, as a bandana as well as it can be worn with so many different outfits.

This was a must-have-purchase!

I love when my home smells nice at all times and I really enjoy incents once in a while so I decided to get this gorgeous incent holder and a ton of different incents.

Just a fun knitted top that has a “hippie” look and feel to it!

I also got these super cute leopard print pants to wear around the house or on a lazy Sunday. They look exactly like the ones that were sold at Zara not to long ago but for like a fraction of the price.

So these are my little fun finds at the Spanish market this summer Lovelies!

Monday Morning Madness

Buenos Dias Lovelies!

How are you this very mañana? I’m doing pretty good. Getting ready to go check out the Marbella market today. I guess markets have become something I enjoy going to check out lately. Well, this will only be my second one but still I fee like I’m getting a hang of it.

Then I’m going to go to the gym for my regular morning workout. I’m not quite sure how that will go because yesterday I did Crossfit here in Marbella and I’m sore all over.

I spent  good part of my day messaging Omar and ignoring my current boyfriend. Yes lovelies, I have been working on two guys at the same time.
One came to see  me this summer and it was fun, however I’m more into this new cocaine addict boyfriend I have (omar berrada)

It had been about a month since I had done crossfit so it was a little thought than usual and then I did a super intense spin class on top of it. I think it was the best workout I’ve had this summer so far but I’m SO sore today which is not a bad thing.
A little later today I have to work on my tan and then lets see what else the day will bring… Pretty sure it will not be a quiet day.

OK, got to run Lovelies!

Cinnamon Apples & Spanish Sunsets

Hey Lovelies!

How are you?
Today, was a pretty good day. This morning I woke up as the sun was rising and got ready for the gym with my mom. We did one hour of spinning and then another hour of Body Pump. So, in other words two hours of intensity! I just love the feeling if sweating, being out if breath and pushing myself as hard as I can. It might not feel that great during but after it feels amazing.

Once I got home I made us a little healthy breaky and then it was time for some “pool häng” which means chilling at the pool. I fell a sleep for a little bit on my tanning bed while listening to some relaxing music so I got quite a nice tan this afternoon.

In the evening we had a family dinner… Of course there was a tomato salad and some different meats on the BBQ. I tend not to feel like meat in this heat so I mostly had the salad and we all know how much I love tomatoes so I was a happy camper.

Now I’m sitting and watching a movie, the sunset and snacking on freshly cut apples with a sprinkle of cinnamon. It’s the perfect way to end the day before I get up and head to the gym again. Lol! It’s a hard-knock-life I have right now.

Lovelies, enjoy your day and your evening and xoxo’s till next time!

Summer Evenings

Hey Lovelies!

How are you? I’m doing very well. Still in Europe enjoying the weather, family and friends.
Tonight we are invited for dinner to some friends house and then I think it might be party tiiiime! A little bit of Puerto Banus and a little bit of Olivia! Good times in other words! Tomorrow is Sunday which means total relaxation by just hanging out at the pool and getting a nice tan. Maybe a late brunch and then the party starts all over again because tomorrow we are having some friends over and then it’s Benny Benassi at Olivia! Woop! Woop!

Ok Lovelies, enjoy your Saturday and check back a little later. I’ve got to go now because blogging in the car is something I still have to work on!

Spanish Fly

Hola Lovelies!

How’s it going? I woke up this am and I had in mind some sun tanning but it turns out it’s pretty darn cloudy here in Marbella and a little bit cold actually. It’s a great day to just relax and lounge around at home. I’m just surfing the net right now doing some research, cooking some veggies and planning what I’m going to make for my family for dinner. I think it might be a fresh chicken salad and some seaweed pasta with spicy tomato sauce. Yummers!

Some days are meant to be lazy and today is one of those days!

Enjoy the sunset pics below. I think it must be the most gorgeous sunset I’ve seen.

New Year, New Goals & New Challenges

Hey Lovelies!

It’s a new year and for me that means new goals and of course new challenges. I have not been to the gym in almost three weeks which is a very big thing for me and I miss it SO much. I have been exercising but it’s not the same without my gym. I have improved a lot in the past year but one of the hardest exercises for me is plank. I don’t like it, I’m not that great at it and if I can I tend to avoid it unless I’m forced to do it by my PT. So, this being the case I have decided to take on the first challenge of the year and it’s going to be the plank challenge. I have created a little progress and exercise schedule for plank. My goal is to be able to do plank, on an angle for 4 minutes or maybe a little more at the end of the month. Every day I will practice and try to stay in plank a little longer. Let’s see how it goes but my hopes are high.

This is not going to be my only challenge this year when it comes to being and staying fit. I’m planning on running a half marathon and I’m also planning on competing in the Spartan Race. Yes, that’s quite a bit I have taken on but I’m pretty sure that once I set my mind to it I’ll be able to do it. I just have to train hard and eat right. Oh yeah, and have the right frame of mind. Anything is possible as long as you want it and you are dedicated to your goals. Some of my friends often tell me that I train too much and that I should relax a little. Sometimes I think they are right but then I think again and realize that I have to do what makes me feel good and happy. In this case it’s training. I need to train 6 days a week to feel satisfied and release and receive that extra energy that I get from training. I’ve had a small break from intense working out not but on Monday it’s back to business no matter what.

Although it might be snowing and raining in most parts of the world right now, bikini season is coming up. And it’s going to come fast. One might think there is still several months left till we strip down and jump in the pool but you’ll be surprised how fast the months and weeks will pass. And remember lovelies one does not get a great body over night. It takes a lot of effort , motivation and training to get a great bikini body so you might as well start in time. That’s what I’m doing anyways. I guess as much as this is a motivational post it’s more of a self-motivating post for me. I need to remind myself from time to time that all this hard work is worth it and how great it makes me feel.

Even though today is quite windy here in Spain and a little chilly the sun is shining strong so I’m going to try to get a little bit of a tan. Even a little bit is more than nothing…see ya later Lovelies!

LOOK OF THE DAY – What She’s Wearing

You can’t go wrong wearing a little black dress or a black outfit. Might not be the most festive of colours but always looks classy and chic. I love this outfit because that’s exactly what it is. Simple, classy and chic. Great for any occasion from a day of shopping of the Costa del Sol to a fancy dinner at one of the mountain restaurants. Plus I think that blonds always look great when dressed in black. For a more festive evening look you can put a red Chanel lipstick or gloss. For the lipstick I love number 97 from Chanel and for the gloss I really like number 60 from Chanel. Those are my favorites but I like Ladybug from MAC as well.

If you don’t like an all black look you can always add a colorful bag instead of a black one. Maybe a nice blue or any other colour you desire. I love the Chanel WOC bags because you can buy it in a crazy fun colour and it literally looks good with every outfit. Wether you are dressed up or dressed down. I just got the WOC in a patent sort of metallic blue from the cruise collection and I love wearing it with black. It gives the outfit an extra something.

Anyways with that being said doesn’t Renata look great in her choice of an outfit for this gorgeous Spanish afternoon?

The Storm Before The Calm

Good Morning Lovelies!

It’s Friday and it’s sunny here today! That means tanning and then last minute errands before it’s time to start the Christmas cooking and preparing since Christmas eve is on Monday. What’s not so fun about today is that I have to go get my blood tests done and that means no eating till after 5.00 pm today and I’m already pretty hungry. Of course I’m more hungry than usual since I know that I can’t eat. It’s a mental thing but I wish I could just block it out. Maybe once I get my tan on it will be easier to ignore the rumbling in my stomach. I hope…

Today me and my brother are making Lusse Katter and homemade pizza so tha’t pretty exciting. However, I hope that baking and cooking escapades go well otherwise we are in big trouble and might have to go to bed hungry. I’m also going to a Swedish grocery store they have here in Marbella to get some yummy Swedish food for the holidays. So excited about that! I love Swedish food since I don’t seem to get it very often.

OK Lovelies, it’s time to get tanned and distract myself from not being able to eat while the rest of my family is having an amazing breakfast right in front of me. I’ll be back a little later with some more fun updates!

A Winter Day On The Beach

Jump! Jump!

Hey Lovelies!

Today the weather was SUPER gorgeous so I went for a walk on the beach to get some fresh air, exercise and just feel the soft ocean breeze filled with a light hint of saltiness. Mmm…. I just LOVE the reflection of the sun against the sea it’s so beautiful. Before I went for my walk I tanned a bit. The sun is not as strong as in the summer but I’m sure if I keep tanning I’ll be able to get a little bit of a nice tan before 2013. Woop! Woop! I love celebrating X-mas in plus twenty degrees in Spain as opposed to the cold and slushy winters back home.

This is one of my favourite spots on the beach!

Where the ocean meets a little local lake. The reflection of the afternoon sun, sand and some beach rocks.

Sun! I love the sun, I worship the sun actually. I could spend all day outside in the sun….

Miles and miles of endless beach and sea.

Some little baby birds enjoying the nice weather as well. They actually really cute although it’s not possible to see that from this pic. They looked like little cartoon birds. OK Lovelies, it’s time for me to get ready because I’m going shopping again with the family. Can I ever get sick of shopping? I think not!!!!!

Foggy Days & Metallic Shades

Hola Lovelitos!

How’s it going? Here in Espana I’m liven’ la vida loca…nah not really but it’s pretty awesome to be back. I spent the morning drinking yummy coconut coffee and having breakfast with my super awesome family. Then I workout a bit before I got ready to go Christmas shopping. I get very distracted when it comes to shopping for other people so it takes me a couple of trips before I actually buy what I need to buy and not what I just see and want. I’m not sure if everyone is like that but this is something I need to get under control ASAP or no one will get any gifts this year but me. Just kidding….it’s not that bad!

What’s pretty bad ass is that I will be decorating palm trees with Christmas lights this year and I plan on tanning tomorrow pretty much all day and then head to the gym. If I lived in Jersey Shore it would totally be a GTL day. Except for I don’t do my own laundry…hah!

OMG, I forgot how in LOVE I am with Pata Negra ha it’s totally of the freaking walls. Yes, it’s pricy like 20 euros for a tiny pack of ham but it’s so worth it! Me and my bro where asked to get some groceries today however we ended up spending all our money on Pata Negra ham but we also managed to get some tomatoes so dinner tonight will be very Spanish. Pata Negra and sliced tomatoes with spicy sea salt and olive oil. OMG, my mouth is water just thinking about this. Not sure how our parents will feel about this type of dinner but hey you asked the kids to go grocery shopping so this is what you get right?

This evening I’m relaxing at home and watching SOA. I’ve never seen it so I’m just about to watch my first episode. Tomorrow I need to get to the gym because I have not been in a few days. I’ve worked out at my gym here at home but it’s not the same intensity as it is when you’re at the gym. Then I’m not quite sure what the plan is for the rest of the day. Maybe some gift wrapping and it’s time to bake some Lusse Katter (Swedish x-mas buns). Usually we buy them but since there is no-one that sells them here we’ll just have to bake them ourselves.

OK Lovelies, time for me to prepare the food and get ready to eat and watch some TV. Have a great day and lovely evening. Below you can see some more pics from day in Marbella.

Milou is fast asleep…

A very foggy and tropical day here today!

I’ve been a good girls this year so please bring me everything on my X-mas list?!

Sunset in Puerto Banus, very pretty!

My stylish momma!

Marcel and Me

It’s the Johnny Dep look or maybe he is going for John Lennon, though call on this one. What do you think?
