Simply a VIKTORIALOVE Weekend

Hey Lovelies!!!

How are you? How was your weekend? My weekend was jam-packed with lots of fun. I don’t know how many hours I slept but I can assure you it was not many however, it was totally worth it that’s for sure. So, you are probably wondering what I have been up to this weekend. Well, Friday I was invited to my girlfriends house for wine and snacks. We were a few girls chatting, sipping on wine and listening to some good music. Sporadically we decided to go out for a drink that night which turned into a full night of dancing fun. Once the clubs closed I was rushing to get home to get a few hours of sleep since on Saturday am I had a wedding to attend to. This was an Indian/Mexican wedding so it was a all day and all night event. Lots of fun, lots of dancing and it was really nice to see some old friends I have not seen in quite some time. I wish my two lovely friends that got married all the happiness in the world.

I said to myself that Sunday I will sleep in and take it easy but so much for that my mom called me in a panic at 8.00 am telling me that there is a pair of YSL shoes that she just has to have and since I’m the Internet guru of my family I was given the task to hunt them down online ASAP. So much for sleeping in because once I’m awake I’m awake there is no going back to bed. When the crisis of the shoes had been taken care of I walked to my parents friends house which is about 1.5 hours from my house. I thought it would be a nice walk on a Sunday afternoon. Indeed it was a gorgeous day for a walk but I was SO tired that I’m surprised I even made. Good news is once we arrived we got to sit outside in the garden, in the sun, in-front of a fire. Not only that my friends mom had prepared a HUGE tupperware of turkey dinner food for me to take home including my favorite, sweet potatoes. I don’t usually eat potatoes but I make an exception once a year for Thanksgiving to eat sweet potatoes because they are one of my favorite things ever.

A few hours later I got home, managed to shower and put a plate with yummy turkey dinner together and I finally sat down to relax and watch some TV which didn’t last to long because I fell asleep very early. Monday am, I was ready to go! I cleaned up a little and headed over to the gym for a hardcore workout to murder all the calories I accumulated during the weekend from drinks and food. I got home, showered, put on a pair of jeans and spent the rest of the day outside, in the sun at Atwater market and by the canal. Best thanksgiving Monday ever!

It was a great weekend but I’m actually happy the week has begun. I need some structure and routine back in my life after a weekend like this. Besides, it’s a short week so the weekend will be back before I know it!
