It was so hard to open my eyes this morning and with the weather still being “blah” my motivation for going to the gym is not very big. This does not mean that I wont be going but I’m just saying. It’s either I train insane or remain the same. So I most def choose to train. As soon as I finish this post and my coffee although I’m not supposed to have one but I just couldn’t resist this morning I’m off to the gym. I’m planning to do cardio on the treadmill, some weights and then take the Zumba class with the most energetic and fun Zumba instructor ever. Her name is Nancy and she is just a ball of energy and not to say the least an amazing dancer.
For the past couple of days I’ve been eating salads with a little bit of protein just like my wonderful naturopath suggested and so far so good. Last night I incorporated so fresh kale in my salad and it tasted pretty good. So I figured today I’ll just make a huge kale salad since kale is supposed to be so good for you. Mmmm….
People that know I train a lot usually ask me “But how much weight do you want to loose?” I roll my eyes a little, but just a little bit and answer…” I don’t have an ultimate goal weight because the scale does not define me. I define myself: active, happy and healthy”. I also get asked why do you have to go to the gym every single day and that is because success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out. Simple as that! You want something you got to work for it, it won’t just appear.
So I say that you all should get of your lovely butts and come join me for some awesome Zumba (where you will burn a million calories at the speed the instructor is goingto make you exercise) at Vic Park! Starts at 9.30 so let’s do this!
