anaPad by Twigcreative
Twigcreative is a small designer group by two people who goes by the names of Steve & Michelle. They define their business like this:
“Everything we do starts from a twig. From a simple idea to a sketch. From a simple sketch to the design. From a simple design to the actual creation. From a simple creation to the hands of an admirer. From there we hope to pass our creations on to you”.
So what have they done to get here? The anaPad! It’s basically a wooden frame with the looks of our beloved iPad. And it works as a minimal white board which can be used for children to play games, draw and what ever they want to do. And also, it has magnets who look like the Apple apps. If I get a kid, this is what I would buy for them right now! Haha! However, sadly Apple is trying to sue Twigcreatives.
So if you want one, hurry up and go here before it’s to late!
The Hug Chair
I have not been posting that much about interior design lately but here is a cool one. Today it is time for a new fresh lounge chair designed by Gabriella Asztalos, a really cool new form of seating furniture. One of those products that really needs the right interior to fit in, but if you have the right spot it will look sick.
This is Gabriellas description of the product, “The Hug Chair is an exclusive furniture design, which combines the original spiral shape and the values of a hug. A unique uni-body circular structure connects both seats together allowing two people to sit face-to-face and thus creating an immediate intimate interaction. Through this physical connection, you feel socially and emotionally connected with the person sitting on the opposite side. The upper “half-pipe” which bends above the heads creates a highway of thoughts and a chain of emotions. In this way you are interconnected within the same circle and the focus is always on the other person, exactly what a hug is about.”
Check out the website here for more info about this funky chair.

The name Valentin Ruhry is very new to me! Actually 30 minutes ago it’s the first time that it caught my attention. Valentin is a german MEGA designer that has attended some of the most prestigious art schools in the world, and also have exhibited his works on the worlds finest art and design museums.

It’s a canvas that is made out of 5000 orange on/off switches! I don’t really think that I can explain it better than that, just watch the pictures, it’s beautiful! And also check the rest of his portfolio right here, some really stunning pieces!

Denim Denom Schnapps
Swedish brand Denim Demon has taken the unlikely leap from selvedge to the spirits market, launching their own brand of schnapps. Taking cues from the names of their two most popular jean styles, the Aajja and Aahka (which mean “grandfather” and “grandmother” in the Sami language of the Arctic indigenous tribes), Denim Demon has produced two limited-edition schnapps. The first, called Aajjavit is flavored with cumin, fennel and oaky, barrel-aged whiskey. The second, dubbed Aahkavit, is lighter and more crisp, infused with cumin and dill. Traditionally drank chilled and straight-up, this Nordic liquor is not for the lightweight drinker.
Missoni c Converse Auckland Racer
Seen on the feet of models through the recent Missoni 2012 Spring/Summer Collection was another collaborative venture between the Italian fashion house and Converse. Moving forward, the two brands congregate on the Auckland Racer with a colorful knitted motif that will surely once again define the high fashion sneaker landscape. Stay tuned for details of a release.
