Vans launches their first ” partner” store in Montreal

In collaboration with Montreal’s urban boutique Off The Hook owned by Harry, we can say Hello to the first Vans partner store in Canada that opens today at one of the busiest corners in this city. That’s right, on St-Catherine, corner Peel St.

This Vans by OTH store will offer the best selection of Vans in Canada with more than 1,500 shoes in 160 styles from the Vault, California, Classics, OTW, Girls and Surf collections. Not only that but it will also have the exclusive option to make custom shoes which previously has only been available in the U.S.  You order your Vans in-store and they will be ready to pick up and wear on the streets of Montreal in just a few weeks.

I’m more of a preppy, proper, girly, girl but I am SO excited about this opening and of course I am heading down ASAP to check out the store.

Yesterday, was the launch of the Vans by OTH store, but only for the media and the industry. However, to celebrate this launch, the guests got word of the opening party via laser-etched invitation and a classic Vans Authentic printed in 3D by Consult Design, signaling the long line of thought put into the new boutique.

Wow!

Not only is the opening of this store a treat in it self  but last evening there was appearances from Steve Van Doren (son of Vans founder Paul Van Doren) and the lord of Dogtown himself, Tony Alva.

The Vans by OTH Shop opens to the general public today, like I mentioned before 5 May 2011 so if you have time you should pass by and check it out!

And I will be back later with more pics and news from the Vans store, once I visit it today. I wish I could have made it last night but let me tell you there are so many store openings in Montreal right now and they all launch on Wednesdays!!!
